Introducing inclusive learning
and teaching in my practice
I feel that the best practice for the fostering of inclusive learning
and teaching could be predicated on the following:
• To develop an understanding and respect for the
unique
qualities and abilities
of each student
• Highlighting the fact that all students have their own unique
strengths and that they can all bring something special to
the learning experience of both themselves and others
• Enabling positive friendships with students from varying backgrounds
• Encouraging peer to peer learning to encourage supported learning
• Encouraging activities which bring people from various communities
both in and out of the classroom
